Soul Legend Isaac Hayes Passes Away

Grammy and Oscar-winning soul legend Isaac Hayes has passed away at his Tennessee home at the age of 65. The soul and disco pioneer known best for writing the ‘Shaft’ theme song as well as his recent tenure as Chef from ‘South Park’ was found unconscious next to a treadmill by his relatives.

Nikki Blonsky Arrested After Fight With ‘Top Model’

‘Hairspray’ star Nikki Blonsky and her father were arrested after a bizarre brawl with ‘America’s Top Model’ contestant Bianca Golden at a Caribbean island airport on Wednesday.

All three were taken into custody by police in the Turks and Caicos Islands - after a fight over seats in the departure lounge. The dust up was apparently so violent Nikki had to wear a neck brace to her court hearing, her father is sitting in jail, and Bianca’s mom is undergoing treatment at a Miami hospital.

50 Cent is suing the Taco Bell cuz he says the fast food chain stole his identity for an advertising campaign. The ads he’s talking about features the star’s name being mentioned in a voice over telling him he should change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. Turns out, Fiddy didn’t sell out - he was never asked and never agreed to have his name mentioned in the ad! 50 Cent is now asking for $4 million in damages for the 79 Cent Value Menu Spoof.

Jonas Brothers buy house in Dallas

The Jonas Brothers reportedly bought a house in a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb — and some young neighbors sound thrilled.

Tarrant County records obtained by The Dallas Morning News indicate that the three band members granted power of attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, to buy a $2.8 million, six-bedroom house in Vaquero, a gated community in the suburb of Westlake. The documents were signed June 12.

Nick Carter’s mama was arrested this morning, allegedly over a really nasty divorce hearing.

Here’s how it went down. Jane Carter, aka Jane Holcomb, aka Jane Schnek, was divorced from a guy named John Holcomb. There are still some legal odds and ends to deal with, including an allegation that she trashed the house they once shared.
